Old Students Association 

History of the OSA 

The process of registering the Association as a Society is underway. Very soon we will have a general meeting of the old students of the college, where the Executive Body will be framed.

Where you are now has a great deal to do with where you have been. 

Government Degree College Matour Foundation looks to alumni, families of students, and others to assist the College to prepare for the future. It gives all those in the wider community who make up the friends of this college, an opportunity to contribute, in an effective way to the ongoing story of the College. Join us as we celebrate your achievements and build on the history that paves the way for the next generation of students from GC Matour. As an alumnus, you have a unique opportunity to positively contribute to the College community, even after you leave. 

When you Reconnect with your college, you will have the opportunity to: 

  1. Mentor current and future students of the college 
  2. Reconnect with former students 
  3. Join us at social and networking events 
  4. Stay up to date with the College and its achievements 

How do I reconnect? 

Log on to the GC Matour’s website www.gdcmatour.edu.in and move on to the OSA section. You will find an OSA form. Complete or update your details in the form provided. Take a print and submit it to the college personally by paying a nominal Registration Fee of Rs. 20/- 

There are many other ways that we can support the college and it looks different for everyone.

  1.  Events: Attending and/or participating in combined events, such as academic dinners. Being a part of ‘encouraging learning and academic excellence among our current residents and developing networks with students and academics. 
  2.  Keep connected: Keep connected by updating your details so we can contact you about new developments, updates about alumni, and special events. 
  3.  Alumni Committee: We are in the process of developing an alumni committee that will aim to support the development of alumni events and initiatives that aim to connect alumni with each other as well as the College. Express your interest by contacting us. 
  4.  Be an ambassador: Know someone in a situation where they need to move away from home to study? Provide them with insight and wisdom about the value of living at GDC Matour through your personal experience.
